MOON LETTERS : POETRY
Elessar- - by Narel
In a stone hall lies a King,
Beyond all others,
And there he sleeps a dreamless sleep,
A sleep with no awakenings.

In that hall sleeps Fathers, Sons, Servants, Kings,
And there lies a Treasure greater than gold and silver,
The heir of great Kings,
The Hope of a fallen race.

A star that fell from the sky,
Onto a land that once was fair,
A land where Kings were once born,
Where the streets were once full of children laughing and playing.

The King of the Tower came with hope,
And healed his people of their lowliness,
He brought Light into Darkness,
And laughter and beauty back to his land.

None shall ever equal this King,
Nor shall anyone ever shine with glory as bright as he shone on the day that he was crowned,
None will ever be as great as the now fallen King,
Nor shall any ever come that can outmatch the dead King, Elssar, the Elf-Stone of Gondor.
