MOON LETTERS : POETRY

The Lawn of Parth Galen - By Lindsay Oliver (Eveningstar)

Riddles and Games in the dark
Encased the world in glittering gold
And brought it in my hand

How can this earth’s fate lie around my neck
And depend on my heart
When I am so small and the task so big?

Faithful friends must now be abandoned
Their own paths need to be followed
No longer can I let them protect me
No longer can I let them destroy themselves

Take a deep breath
Look out toward the horizon
And find yourself
Take that single step into the deep
And let your heart lead the way

Riddles and Games in the dark
Encased the world in glittering gold

This earth’s fate lies around my neck
The task is so big
But I am so small, just so small
