Amid the forest dark and deep, the ancient pathways wind that once were trod by elven feet, in some forgotten time. Trees like Eldar warriors stand,while all around them sleep where the road once led to Beleriand,an endless watch they keep. Tis long since any walked this way,but then the world was young. When elven lords came out to play and joyous songs were sung. Now all is silent dark and still,where once their fires burned, for the elves have gone into the west, never to return.
