MOON LETTERS : POETRY
Mithrandir - by Nancy Lorenz

Mithrandir, joy has come
your wisdom rejoins us
And now a new light becomes you
Blessed wanderer, Mithrandir.

Your steed has returned to you,
Silver beast bears you now
Against the dark lord’s nine
You are the white rider, Mithrandir.

Ah! Can you see us dance and sing?
Praise to the wisest among all
And now we need you, darkness calls.
Protect us always, Mithrandir.

Beside you are your warriors true,
Fair one in uncounted ages,
Stout son of the people of mountains,
Young king in your stride, Mithrandir.

Mithrandir, our saviour now.
Returned in vital glory old.
The ring lord withered, now is gone.
And you remain, Mithrandir.
