MOON LETTERS : TOOKISH TICKLERS
Being for the Benefit of Barrow Wights - Anonymous

Sung to the tune of "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite" by the Beatles

For the benefit of Barrow Wights
There will be some Hobbit fright
on barrow's crown.
The Brandybuck boy will be there
late because his lunch-time fare
was bolted down.
without packs or pony's or directions
stumbling through a fog-shrouded archway.
In this way Frodo may vacate the world.

The desecrated royal graves
converted into homes for wraiths
in Cardolan
The Hobbit's ponys bolt and run
As Barrow Wight awaits his fun.
What a plan.
And a sword and spell assure the Halflings
their abduction will be ghoulish and chill
Then of course Fatty the Horse
Brings Bombadil.

The light begins to show he's strong
when Mr. F performs his song
"Hey Derry-Dol."
And Mr. B will demonstrate
his music's mastery of fate
in ancient halls.
Having been some time in stamping digits
a splendid treasure's carried out by Tom
and then Mr. Baggins will find them some clothes
